It all started when I came home from school. I sat outside of our house and started scrolling through my Pinterest feed. After a few minutes of nonstop scrolling, a photo caught my attention. That photo represents something that is called AI or Artificial Intelligence and it inspired me about something. I saved the photo and I opened my Facebook account to create a page. Since I already became an Editor of a Facebook page which is about facts, I was inspired to start my own. The name, “Brainy Facts” suddenly came up on my mind as I was looking at the photo that I saved from Pinterest. After creating the page, I scroll through my Twitter feed to find facts or trivia that I can post. It then continued until my page gained some followers. At first, the posts are only about facts until I tried to post something funny and it caught many people’s attention. After finding out what my few followers read the most from my page, which are jokes, I started posting many jokes than before. Because of posting random jokes, I gained more and more followers and it resulted to my page having a popular post at least one per day. Then one day, I was really really sad to the point that, I don’t want to post on my page anymore. When I scroll through my Twitter feed, I found a lot of sad posts that gave me an idea to have another topic on my page. After collecting some sad posts from Twitter, I posted them on my page and still, it gained a lot of attention from many followers.
After all of those hard works, I finally found out what my followers like about my page. Since they like relatable things, I continue to post more jokes, and sometimes, more sad posts. But, I didn’t forget to post facts because many followers are complaining that my page is slowly turning into a “sad teen page” and not a “serious page” anymore. Knowing that my popular posts causes me to gain more followers, it motivates me to do more, to be much more creative. This page taught me that no matter how sad your life is, just keep doing what you love especially when many people are entertained by the things you do. Yes, it’s hard to make other people happy when you’re not even happy on your own but, be thankful also that you have a talent to make other people laugh when they are on their saddest days.
As the Creator of this page, which is Brainy Facts, I may be tired or lazy sometimes when it comes to posting updates and statuses, as long as my followers are appreciating my hard works, I will try my best to not give up and still give all of you a daily dose of relatable things that you can read from my online book, Brainy Facts
